1987年，必能信超声波（亚太）有限公司在香港成立。作为必能信在亚太地区的总部，香港必能信管理着包括中国大陆、新加坡、台湾、泰国、马来西亚、印度、印尼和菲律宾等地区的销售业务。1989年，台湾必能信成立。
1993年，必能信来到中国，成立了必能信超声（上海）有限公司。时至今日上海必能信拥有员工300人左右，是必能信在亚洲的生产和销售配套服务基地，也是国内的综合性超声设备生产和技术开发企业。多年以来，上海必能信持续改进生产工艺、严格控制产品质量、引进先进的国外技术和科研人员为中国企业提供与世界同步的产品和服务。上海必能信多次被上海市政府评为外商投资先进技术企业和高新技术企业并相继在2003年和2004年通过了严格的ISO9001和ISO14001管理体系认证。
